SEPRISE (Sustained, Efficient Production of Required information Services) is a Specific Support Action funded by the EC within the 6th Framework Programme to further operational oceanographic services, in line with the priorities of the members of EuroGOOS.

Coriolis has collaborated with the Eurogoos project office to gather in real-time the freely available data into a single port  and provide visibility to the data within the Mersea Integrated Project funded by EC (Talk given at Mersea Plenary April 2007). This work contribute to demonstrate the feasibility of joint pan-European data exchange and forecasting in an operational mode.

Each month 2 GoogleEarth files are generated showing the data collected in the past 30 days

Profiles : SE-LATEST-MONTH-STA.kmz
Surface observations, time series : SE-LATEST-MONTH-TRA.kmz

The data can be downloaded from  an FTP site at ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/coriolis/seprise/ where the data are stored in three different directories : one for data provided by Moon, one for those provided by IBI-ROOS at the latest one for those provided by NOOS and BOOS. The format is described in the User Manual

Additional  mooring data as well as comparison with model outputs are shown at SEPRISE demo WWW site maintained by EUROGOOS project office.
