MFSTEP  Mediterranean Forecasting System: Toward Environmental Predictions

The MFSTEP projects aims at the further development of an operational foracsting system for the Mediterranean Sea based upon 3 main components:

    - The Near Real Time Observing System
    - The numerical forecasting system at basin scale and for regional areas
    - the forecast products dissemination and exploitation system

Within the Near Real Time Observing System, ARGO floats have been deployed during the pre-top period. Some more Argo floats will be deployed during the TOP period. This is the MEDARGO component of the ARGO project.
